No turning back

after lots of faffing the house is finally on the market.  The estate agent kept changing his appointment time but I finally got him here the same day as the surveyor for the home report.  They both said lovely things about the house, which filled me full of pride.  I do love this house and whilst everyone who visits says it feels homely, it's never really felt like my home. So I don't feel to attached to it.

I've been on holiday this week. And in the spirit of adventure I've adopted I have spent the week learning to sail.  I've learnt how to harness the wind in pretty much every direction.  I can tack and gybe and I can set up and dismantle a boat.  Pretty impressive.  What we set out to learn was the equivalent of the RYA level 1, however we managed level 1 and 2.  Whilst I'm still lacking in confidence I can happily report that I didn't capsize at all.  I'll continue going to the sailing club whilst I'm here and hopefully build on what I've learnt so far.

I've set myself a challenge from now on to learn something new each year so that's this years goal ticked off.  Maybe still time to learn something else?  I'll maybe try and get my head around the ukulele seeing as it's sat her for 6 months in-used!

My son arrives tomorrow for a weeks leave, I'm so bloody excited to be seeing him, but also know that I'll be asking him constantly to keep his stuff tidy, I have to be prepared for viewings now, lol.

I'm off to sleep, all that sea air has shattered me out.

Keep your fingers crossed for the house sale for me please xx
